Production Support Clerk

Job Responsibilities
- Support production, maintenance and quality as instructed by Plant Manager
Duties
Production
- Coordinate with toll customer service for product orders and shipments
- Generate weekly reports for toll customer including inventory, production and shipments in a timely manner.
- Report and communicate with several levels of JRS management and Toller management
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational information for Plant Manager
- Protect organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality of information
- Manage and update the SDS manuals
- Assist with the preparation of safety meetings for employees
- Create PO’s for incoming plant supplies and ingredients with cost awareness
- Creating BOL for shipment of finish products
- Facilitate inventory control procedures ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all inbound and outbound product, materials, supplies and inventories in storage
- When needed assist with answering customer inquiries
- Participate in new employee orientation and training
Maintenance
- Assist with updating the maintenance and safety records
- Carry out office administrative duties including but not limited to downtime, production and inventory reports
- Participate in facility continuous improvement programs
Quality
- When needed assist quality department with routine procedure such as PH test, scorch partial, moister content, SOP maintenance and document control
- Aid quality department with traceability of ingredients and finished products
- Assist with document maintenance and preparation of food safety and certification audits (GFSI, Organic, Kosher, HALAL)
- When needed compile product samples to ensure prompt shipping to toll customer
Minimum Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications
- Is knowledgeable and complies with JRS USA LP’s handbook policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept in use of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and ideally Power Point to basic level and ERP Software

Certifications/Licenses
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Generally completed in an office setting
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid, toxic/caustic chemicals, high places and heat/cold conditions could also exist.
Other Information
- 8 hour shift M-F 8am-4pm
